Good morning Ladies,

Thanks to Pam Berry, I was able to find a tea room in Auburn.  It is called the Powers Mansion Inn, and it is actually IN the Mansion Parlor and Dining Room.  It is now run by the former employees of the tea room that closed in Newcastle.

We will have the Mansion to ourselves (limit 26 guests) and we’ll be served tea, soup, fruit, quiche, little sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and preserves, and dessert.  The price, which includes tax and tip, will come to $32.00 per person.  The price is a little higher this year than last, but the food is much better quality (no donut holes!)  Edy Ternullo and I were very impressed.

Since everyone enjoyed the “Best Hat” contest these past two years, we will carry on the tradition.  So dress up in your best hat and whoever gets the most votes wins! 

Since I have to sign a contract, I will need to get a "yes" or "no" ASAP so that I can get a count on how many of you plan to attend.   The date is February 10th, which is a Thursday.

Once I receive your check, you will be on the list of 26 people.  Cut off date to receive your check is February 1, 2011.

We will meet at the side of Orchard Creek where we usually meet at 10:15 A.M., leaving promptly at 10:30 A.M.  We can carpool to Auburn.
